My son has given up on this app due to this problem, he gets very frustrated. The biggest frustration is that the keyboard sometimes disappears during the test and the nay thing you can do is stop the test and start over. Unfortunately, I find that it falls short. It was expensive but I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. I thought it would be a great study tool for my son who has weekly spelling tests. ✓ Expected better I was really enthused about this app when I read about it.

How is that helpful in teaching anyone how to spell?. ✓ Spellboard There appears to be virtually no content. This app has great potential and so it is a shame that it is COMPLETELY UNUSABLE in it's current state. I am sorely disappointed with the obvious error in the application and cannot stress enough that you should AVOID THIS APP until the developer addresses this most serious and fundamental flaw!!! In both cases I have entered the words correctly and even added the words to quizzes that I was able to launch and examine. Twice I have spent a considerable amount of time entering over a hundred words into the application and twice the application has LOST about 2/3 of my work. Lastly, the application should apply a frequency score to missed words to help reinforce these.īut the fatal flaw. There should also be a better interface for rapidly entering words in bulk, an activity that currently takes too long. Namely, there should be a facility for automatically generating quizzes based on user specified criteria. The interface is well conceived although missing some fairly obvious functionality and a little quirky in places. Based on the strength of another app by the same developer, I purchased this to help my kids study their spelling words. The app loaded onto my iPad however it won't open even after several attempts to reboot. I purchased this app in good faith to assist my children. ✓ Doesn't open If I could give this app zero stars I would do.
